This blog is aimed to be used by all sufferers of endometriosis in the Wellington region. We are affiliated to Endometriosis New Zealand, and provide local support to the Wellington region. We will use this blog to communicate the dates for meetings and update information that might be useful to our members. A big thank you and well done to everyone who raised money for Endometriosis Awareness during March.We would love to hear from you if you help a fundraising event of your own so we can celebrate your success.We managed to hold a few fundraising events in the official awareness week, but the money has continued to roll in during March which is fantastic.Money raised for Endometriosis Awareness Week all goes to Endometriosis New Zealand, and they will then help us with support in the Wellington region using the money we raised.A big thanks to Annie, Natasha and Nicola, who all contributed.
Annie is our hero of the month for cycling 101 kilometres in 4 hours and 23 minutes to raise money. Annie's sponsors are still flowing in, but her current total stands at $1,138.20 which is an amazing achievement. Thanks Annie for your efforts and for thinking of ENZ for your selected charity.
Added to the money raised through morning teas, poker nights and a wine and tapas night, that brings the Wellington Support Group total to $1,329.20Thanks! We hope we can raise more next year.
